Nusuk Hajj: how to book Hajj from the UK, Europe and North America
If you live in a country without a national Hajj mission, such as the UK, France, the US, Canada or Australia, you book Hajj yourself on Nusuk Hajj, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s official platform. Here is how it works, from its own pages.
Hajj 2027 (1448): what is announced
As of 13 October 2026 the Ministry has not announced the Nusuk Hajj dates for Hajj 1448 (2027): the platform still shows the 1447 season and says package dates will be announced later. For reference, in 1447 the package preference phase opened on 9 January 2026. We update this page when the 1448 dates are official.
Who can use Nusuk Hajj
- Citizens and permanent residents of a served country. The platform publishes the list of served countries each season; the 1447 list included the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
- Temporary visas, such as student or Schengen visas, are not accepted. Saudi citizens and residents use the domestic Hajj portal instead.
- Pilgrims aged 15 and over. Infant tickets are not supported.
- Women may perform Hajj without a mahram, according to the platform.
- You can add up to 7 family members to your application, all living in the same country.
- Places are allocated first come, first served, with no priority groups; registering does not guarantee a place.
The 10 steps on Nusuk Hajj
- Create an account
- Upload your documents (passport valid at least 6 months on entry)
- Fill in the application
- Wait for verification
- Choose a package category
- Top up your eWallet (Visa or Mastercard, or bank transfer; amounts in Saudi riyals)
- Browse the service providers
- Choose a package
- Book (flights are booked and paid inside the platform; entry only via Jeddah or Madinah airport)
- Review your itinerary
Package categories
- Luxury (5-star), Premium (4-star) and Standard (3-star or residential accommodation).
- Each comes as Non-Shifting (at least 10 days) or Shifting (at least 14 days); Mashair-only packages are at least 6 days.
- Mina camps are in Majar Al-Kabsh or Al-Muaisim.
- The platform publishes no price ranges; prices depend on the category and duration and are shown inside your account.
- The all-inclusive package includes the Hajj visa. Hajj is only allowed with a Hajj visa.
Vaccines
The quadrivalent meningitis vaccine (ACYW) is required at least 10 days before arrival. Polio and yellow fever are required for travellers from affected countries; COVID-19 and flu vaccines are recommended. Vaccines by country
Cancellation and refunds
- An individual package can be cancelled within 72 hours of purchase, or until booking closes if that is sooner.
- Refunds take up to 45 working days, and 2% is deducted from eWallet refunds.
- Partial refunds are not allowed, and a booking cannot be transferred to another person.
Avoid fake Hajj offers
Nusuk Hajj is the only approved platform for these countries: packages and Hajj visas cannot be bought from any outside platform or agent. Performing Hajj without a permit is fined up to SAR 20,000 with deportation and a 10-year entry ban for offenders, and anyone who obtains a visit visa for such a person is fined up to SAR 100,000 per person (1447 penalties).
